What A Wonderful World

Gosh, I leave Prague TOMORROW! Which means I will be HOME, in the US of A, on Monday!! I can't even explain how excited I am!  There are still so many things I feel like I didn't get to talk about on here, yet as I am preparing to leave I can't think of much to say.

I don't yet know how to summarize this experience, as I'm sure it will take time to process this semester. I have a lot of thoughts floating around in my head, but am not sure how to express them in words. Being abroad has been challenging, exciting, scary, hilarious, frustrating, and just about every other emotion..... but overall, Prague was wonderful!

Though goodbyes are RARELY fun, at the same time I couldn't be more excited to be going to my favorite place in the world...home!! I have missed so many wonderful things about home, but I am most excited to see my FAMILY!! It was surprising to find out how much I could miss them, so I so look forward to being back in there arms, oh so soon!

Speaking of family, I owe everything to my fantastic parents. Without them, I would not have been able to experience the wonders of this semester abroad! So thank you Mom and Dad for your unending and massive amounts of love and support that carried me through every day of wild adventure!!

So as I prepare to leave I think to myself, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD!

Buda and Pest

It is kind of strange that this was my last "trip" and full weekend in Europe! We decided to zip down to Budapest, Hungary for our last hoorah! Budapest used to be two cities- Buda and Pest. The first day, we explored the Buda side of the city.

The second day, we went to the largest covered market in the city. Originally, this market used to get its goods from barges that came in under the market.
We then walked to one of Budapest's famous baths! Budapest rests on top of a labyrinth of underground caves and hot springs, so these baths were naturally heated and oh did they feel good!

We then met up with Briana and her friend Sarah, and explored Budapest's largest park, which is an island in the middle of the Danube River.

Spending so much time with three of my best friends, in Europe, has been so incredibly special!! This is definitely a time I will remember forever! And ever!!!

NARNIA! And a Visit from Pressly :)

Right after getting back from Česky Krumlov, Pressly came to Prague!! I had a blast showing her around, and taking her to restaurants and places that I have fallen in love with. It has been a pretty cool experience being about to compare our study abroad experiences!

Having three high school friends reunited in Europe felt like once in a lifetime opportunity!!

We even explored parts of Prague I had never seen before. We climbed Petřín Hill. It was absolutely stunning, and we were able to get a great view of the city. Pressly claims she always has the best "weather luck," which I now definitely agree to! We had five days of clear skies and warm(ish) weather, which is unheard of in Prague!! Thank you Pressly!!
We decided we were in need of some nature and time away from the city, so we took a day trip to Hrensko to go hiking! This was in an area called Czech Switzerland, and it was so beautiful!

One of the most spectacular scenes was a natural rock bridge that was formed thousands of years ago due to an erosion. It was a finalist for the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and was also the site of a scene in NARNIA!!
We ate lunch directly under the bridge, that overlooked

To end our "Tour de Narnia," we walk along the river gorges, which was another beauty of its own.

Because it was Earth Week, we decided to show the Earth how much we love it!
Happy Earth Week Y'all!!!
